What this site collects and how it is funded
Platform Facts Kenya is an independent editorial desk. It publishes one measurement: rows from public sources, republished with the date and hour they were read. This page explains what the desk collects, what it cannot see, and where its money comes from.
What the desk is and is not
The desk is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. Its subject is one measurement, taken from named public sources and republished with the date and the hour it was read. Rows are what the CMA published, with its own dates. A caution is the Authority's statement, not a court finding.
The sources are named under every table, with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher. Responsibility sits with the publication's editorial desk: Platform Facts Kenya editorial desk. The desk reads the sources, notes the hour of reading, and answers corrections. It names no person and gives no credentials.
What the desk collects and what it cannot see
The site collects nothing of its own. There are no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment form. The site sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics and stores nothing in the reader's browser. The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs; the site's publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of them.
Writing to the address on the contact page reaches the desk. Corrections are the reason the address exists: a figure that is wrong is corrected and the correction is dated. The desk cannot see a reader's own bank or wallet, cannot answer questions about a broker account, and cannot promise recovery or refunds.
The affiliate relationship and how the site is paid
The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link, and is paid a commission if a reader opens an account there. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This is stated plainly, in its own paragraph, on the page about the publisher and on the page about terms.
Nothing on the site is investment advice, a recommendation or an offer. The rows describe what the regulator has published, not what a reader should do. The desk's funding does not change the measurement: the hour is republished with every row, and a correction is dated when it is made.
Following the outbound link changes the operator
The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy, and following the link leaves this site. The reader is then on FxPro's pages, where the broker's own terms apply. The desk does not control that site and cannot see what a reader does there.
A reader thinking about data questions should write to the address on the contact page. The desk will say what it measured, when it measured it, and where the source is. It will correct a figure that is wrong and date the correction. It will not give advice or promise an outcome.
