Terms of reading

The terms on which these pages are read

These pages report one measurement from named public sources. They are information, not advice. The desk is not a broker and holds no money. This page states what the desk does, what it cannot do, and how it is funded.

Information, not advice

Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation or an offer. The rows describe what the regulator has published, not what a reader should do. A row records what the CMA published, with its own dates. A caution is the Authority's statement, not a court finding. The reader decides alone and is responsible for their own decision.

The desk does not rate platforms or predict outcomes. It does not say that any price will rise or fall, and it does not suggest that any account should be opened or avoided. The measurement is republished with the date and the hour it was read so that a reader can check the figure at its publisher. No promise about future performance is made, because no such promise can be made from a table of published numbers.

What the desk measures

The desk's subject is one measurement, taken from named public sources. It reads the CMA's published rows and republishes them with the Authority's own dates. The sources are named under every table, with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher. The desk does not add interpretation or opinion to that measurement.

If a figure is wrong, the desk corrects it and dates the correction. The address on the contact page exists for that reason: editor@platformfactske.pages.dev. A reader who finds a row that does not match the linked source should write to that address. The desk will check the source again and correct the page if the figure was misread.

What the desk is not

The site is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. It accepts no orders and executes no trades. A reader cannot open an account here, deposit shillings here, or withdraw anything from this site.

The desk has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment form. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics and stores nothing in the reader's browser. The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs; the site's publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of them.

How the site is funded

The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link, and is paid a commission if a reader opens an account there. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This affiliate relationship is stated plainly on this page and on the page about the publisher.

Following that link leaves this site. The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy. The desk does not control that site, does not hold the reader's money at any point, and does not see what the reader does after leaving. The commission does not change what is published, because the measurement comes only from the named public source.
